Atlantic City Electric Using Helicopter and Infrared Technology to Inspect Regional Power Lines

Starting this week, Atlantic City Electric will inspect more than 1,300 miles of aerial transmission lines by helicopter and infrared camera in South Jersey. The aerial inspections are part of the company’s ongoing commitment to deliver safe and reliable service for its customers. Atlantic City Electric crews work year-round to proactively review the company’s system and make needed upgrades and improvements.

Due to the high winds last evening, the Atlantic County Office of Mosquito Control rescheduled their evening aerial spray over portions of Port Republic (Clarks Landing Road east to Chestnut Neck Road) to Thursday, August 22, 2019, between the hours of 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm

The Atlantic County Office of Mosquito Control is scheduled to conduct an evening aerial spray over portions of Port Republic (Clarks Landing Road east to Chestnut Neck Road) on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, between the hours of 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm

The Construction Official will not be in the office the week of August 19th, but will be in the following week on Monday 8/26, Tuesday 8/27, Wednesday 8/28 and Thursday 8/29
