In accordance with N.J.S.A 10:4-6 (The Open Public Meetings Act) and in accordance with Governor Murphy’s issuance of Executive Order No. 103 & 107, City Council of the City of Port Republic, County of Atlantic, State of New Jersey will conduct their annual Reorganization Meeting followed by their Regular City Council Meeting on January 5,
City Hall Closed to the Public Beginning on December 21, 2020
Due to the continued increase of COVID-19 cases in our area, City Hall will be closed to the public beginning on Monday, December 21st until further notice.
Detour on Pitney Road in Galloway
A detour will be in effect for two weeks on Pitney Road in Galloway Township and Port Republic for utility work by Atlantic City Electric, Atlantic County officials said Tuesday.
The detour will be between East Moss Mill Road in Galloway and Riverside Drive in Port Republic from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm,

In accordance with N.J.S.A 10:4-6 (The Open Public Meetings Act) and in accordance with Governor Murphy’s issuance of Executive Order No. 103 & 107, City Council of the City of Port Republic, County of Atlantic, State of New Jersey will conduct a City Council meeting on December 8, 2020 at 6:30 pm,
Detour Plan
NJSP Traffic Office recommends the need for a Traffic Plan Detours to maintain work-zone safety within the area of Atlantic City Electric’s ongoing project.
Additionally traffic plan detours will be provided for all other areas of the project needed prior to commencement of work. See attached traffic plan for the Riverside Drive (Wrangleboro Road To Mill) portion of the project.
Annual Tree Lighting Event Cancelled
Unfortunately the City’s Annual Tree Lighting Event that normally takes place on the the first Thursday of December is cancelled due to COVID-19.
Senior Freeze Deadline Extended Until December 31, 2020
