2022 Dog Licenses Now Available!

2022 Dog Licenses are now available! All dogs 6 months or older must be licensed in Port Republic yearly. License fees are: $6.00 for spayed/neutered and $11.00 for dogs who are not spayed/neutered. Payment can only be accepted in the form of cash or check.

If your dog’s vaccine expires before November 1 of this year,

In Need of Alzheimer Support?


Alzheimer Support is a free service that assists Port Republic families who have loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Through their free search tool and database of Alzheimer’s care facilities, families in need of care for their loved ones can locate licensed care homes and communities in the Port Republic area that are best equipped to provide care for their loved ones.

Transfer Station Will Be Open – Saturday, January 1, 2022

The Transfer Station will be open on Saturday, January 1, 2022, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.

The Governing Body of Port Republic will hold their Reorganization Meeting for the year 2022 on January 4, 2022, at 6:00 pm followed by a Regular City Council Meeting at 6:30 pm location: 143 Main Street, City Hall, Port Republic, NJ.

Transfer Station to be Closed on 12/25/2021

The Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday, December 25th and will reopen on Wednesday, December 29th between the hours of 11:00 am and 9:00 pm

Tax Assessor’s Notice

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 54:4-38 R.S., notice is hereby given that the Tax Assessor (143 Main Street, Port Republic, NJ 08241), that the assessment list for the 2022 tax year will be available for inspection on December 15, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm to ascertain what assessments have been made against him or his property and to confer informally with the Assessor as to the correctness of the assessment list and duplicate with the Atlantic County Board of Taxation.
