Pay rate: $105 per day, regular Substitute Certificate
$120 per day, Teacher Certification
Must hold or be eligible for NJ Substitute Certificate. All new Substitute Certificates are now handled through NJCERT https://www.nj.gov/education/certification/apply/
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In the absence of the classroom teacher, the substitute is responsible for providing instruction and managing the learning environment.
