Trails During Hunting Season (November 1 – December 31) Ordinance 3-2017
The trails are closed from November 1 – December 31 (excluding Sundays) with the exemption of hunting and trapping license holders. The general public is prohibited from accessing or otherwise utilizing Open Space Properties in the City of Port Republic during Hunting Season.

Port Republic Bridge Scheduled to Reopen
County Executive Dennis Levinson has announced that on or about Friday, September 29, the Port Republic Bridge carrying traffic over the Nacote Creek on Old New York Road will reopen to traffic following the county’s $12.5 million full replacement of the bridge and roadway improvements to the nearby intersection.
The project is substantially complete but intermittent lane closures may occur as construction operations are finalized.
Change of Schedule – Tax Collector – Week of September 18, 2023
The Tax Collector will be in the office on Wednesday, September 20th between 5 pm and 7 pm.
She will NOT be in the office on Thurday, September 21st.
